Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy
All couples have issues

IFS is grounded in the belief that beneath all of our parts is our core Self — the calm, relaxed, resilient self.
When we build and start to get in touch with our core self, healing can begin to happen from the inside out. This process can create real change by:
Addressing the emotional roots of anxiety, depression, chronic stress, or relationship challenges
Healing attachment wounds that can limit our current relationships and make them more complicated than they need to be
Stopping us from sabotaging ourselves
Growing inner balance and connection.
How We Use IFS in Our Practice
Our therapists use IFS and other attachment-focused, trauma-informed approaches. We work together with you to understand yourself better so that you can start to reconnect with you – your authentic and true self.
Whether you’re dealing with relationship issues, overwhelm, childhood trauma, or just feeling stuck, IFS allows us to go deeper. Along with the other approaches that we specialize in, IFS can enable us to go deeper, with the goal being that you can enjoy yourself and your relationships more.
IFS or Internal Family Systems, is a transformative, evidence-based approach that helps clients heal by exploring and harmonizing the different parts of their inner world.
IFS is based on the idea that we all have a core Self — calm, compassionate, and wise — and a system of inner parts, each with its own role, emotions, and needs.
Rather than trying to eliminate difficult thoughts or behaviors, IFS helps people understand and support their inner parts, especially those carrying pain or trauma. The goal is not to fight ourselves, but to listen inwardly, restore balance, and heal from within.
These parts often develop in response to early attachment wounds, trauma, or relational pain, and they carry the emotions, beliefs, and protective strategies we’ve used to survive.
IFS is used to treat trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and more — and it’s also a powerful tool for personal growth and self-discovery.
Because we specialize in deep, lasting change — not just symptom relief. Internal Family Systems (IFS) is one of our core approaches because it helps clients get to the root of emotional and relational struggles, rather than just managing surface behaviors.
